Correspondence, financial and legal records, speeches, writings, and photos, relating to an allied pioneer Jewish family of Seattle, Wash., their Seattle real estate investments, and various philanthropic activities. Includes records of Cooper Levy, the family's general merchandising and grocery business, especially relating to its role as a supplier during the Klondike gold rush, and of their building management firm, Republic Operating Co. Family members represented include Isaac Cooper (1857-1943), his wife, Elizabeth (Levy) Cooper (d. 1915), her brothers, Aubrey, Eugene, and Louis Levy, and mother, Esther Levy (1839-1920), together with Bonham Galland.
